Well for me he is and yes he is a dog but we give them personalities and wait for the one's I give Sall and Nell just think about Gimme, Gimme and Lynda LOL for our Nell and its perfect.
Going back to Tag a good number of folk know the Tag litter wasn't planned and had Nell not been such a Tart and Moss bless him not bided his time and done the sneaky Tag and Co would never of been
There were 6 in the litter 3 of each we hadn't thought about keeping a male at all but we had had Moss done and this was before we knew about the puppies on the way and Moss was always a gentleman and wouldn't of presented a problem we don't think unfortunately poor Moss took ill last year and as the out look looked very bleak and they couldn't tell us out right what was a matter with him or worse if he was going to come home we opted to have him PTS which was awful and it wasn't my intention to mention it but you write what you feel I guess.
So yes Tag well thankfully we had him he was the smallest of the 3 boys but we liked his balance and his plenty of attitude, he did have white toes but mostly have grown out now but he still has one white front claw his Dad Moss had three white toes but black claws and what really impressed me with both Tag and his Dad is there black gums and big white teeth, Tag opened his mouth at three weeks of age and the roof of his mouth was all black so amazing pigmentation.
Tag grew all ways but mainly with his bum higher than his front and he had these stupid tiny ears that just stuck out on the side of his head so it has to be said we did start to think we kept the wrong one and his bags were packed several times but then around ten months of age he started to look much better so we decided to try a couple of shows.....What a bloody nightmare as to get him to stand on 4 legs was a small feat in its self but then you had to try and control the huffing and puffing and just completely winding himself up into a frenzy needless to say his Dad was the same and if memory serves he bloody escaped from me at National Terrier ran out of the ring straight to his Dad (Simon) and I stood there all red and flustered and trying to laugh when I wanted to die.
Tag did his 1st Champ show and won BPIS and no one was more surprised than me and then four days later he had kennel cough so the following weekend Champ show we couldn't do, so he was around thirteen months old the time he went out again, we finished off that year with three champ shows with him and he got kennel cough again and also the heeby jeebies completely whilst being examined by the judge.....The amazing thing is at home nothing phases him and more up to date doing Crufts 2008 he was so good I was chuffed to bits he made the split and then binned but I wasn't bothered and I knew he hadn't stood perfect but for me it was just a relief to have him calm and he allowed the judge to go over him so have to thank family members and friends for practicing with us plus a little dog handling class that we went to every week
More on Tag's regime and play tomorrow
